I'm Back
Since I started this blog the world has not become any easier to live in and in many ways the challenges we face seem to be getting bigger and heavier all the time, and I know that if ever there was a time to reach out and connect with others out of a desire to promote the Invisible Indispensables: Love, Knowledge, Faith, Hope, Creativity, Commitment, Loyalty--and all the other qualities and attributes that can live within us without having a physical form that can be experienced by the senses . . . then the time is NOW.
One of the greatest and most concrete ways these indispensables can exist is in words--in Ink. Does a collection of pixels count as ink? Perhaps not, but this blog is Invisible Ink, so I think the idea works. I can think of only one place invisible indispensables can exist in greater power and that is in the actions powered by the human heart, and that my friends is the ultimate goal of this blog, to give us power to act--to move us to Love more, Learn more, Believe more, Dream more, Build more, Serve more, and Protect more.
We need to accept that our existence and the core essence of all that is good and true is under attack. We might all have different perspectives and experiences regarding what or who our enemies are; can we at least agree that chief among them is our own decision not to develop the invisible indispensables inside ourselves? More than changing any of you who happen to be impacted by these words these symbols recorded and floating in "the cloud" are about me working on myself to be a part of the solution to the problems so obviously all around. I have a profound hope that the outpouring of my soul for the progress of my home, community, nation, and planet and all intelligence--all life--will impact all these by impacting me. I know that the greatest impact we can make in the world is the impact we can make on ourselves, and I also know that we are a part of each other.
We can say all we want that the problems in the world are the world's problems, but we live a lie until we realize that the world does not exist to us unless it exists in us, and if the world exists, even in part, in us, then how are we not responsible?
We are responsible. What more can be said? I am responsible. I can develop the invisible indispensables in my life and so can you. There are as many ways as there are minds, bodies, and souls to create them, and the faster the work progresses the faster we can all live in the state of Joy we need to live in. There can be no better time than now, and with the tools and technologies available to us we can do beautiful good.
